i think we should add the option to the profiles of letting the users change their names. it could be free as in part of the profile, or it could cost pokedollars.
main reason: it would make the admin's jobs easier, not being pmed about people changing their names, or it could be another thing for the shop.

I think it should be for the shop because if someone got in trouble and changed their username so we don't know them

agreed with umbreon49, my suggestion about having new username for pokedollars is declined, i hope it will be accepted now.
