I would like to know what move is better, giga drain or solar beam? and any reason?

solar beam needs time and giga drain can absorb him .

I'd say Solarbeam because:
1. Solarbeam has double the power of Giga Drain
2. Solarbeam doesn't need to charge up if your pokemon know Sunnyday and it is in effect.

still, sunny day will take a turn to use, plus 1 turn for solarbeam. still 2 turns. and giga drain does decent damage, and restores the users health. it is better by far

and it won't be too effective since giga drain is grass type and solarbeam attack is also grass type both will be non - effective vs each other .

i think having solar beam might have delay because you need first to charge
if you like tank use sunny day then go and go but still, a turn is wasted

cycle25 do you have sunny day if you do not then use giga drain .

or if you have a groudon, because his ability is drought, which is a forever sunny day. then use solar beam.

it is only effective on double battles, meganium/venosaur/scpetile+ groudon would be superb

Solarbeam FTW
My leafeon has sunny day, giga drain, solarbeam and iron tail. The best combination is Sunny Day + Leaf Guard + Solarbeam :)
