why does ash always win in battles?

its because he's the star of the show. He can only rarely lose but have close battles to keep viewers watching and entertained

I wish he'd lose sometimes. If anything it'd make the show better.

in gyms battle

the first thing that always happen is ash's pokemon is tortured for how many times then after munites his mind will have hope in his mind and thinks of his strategy then he will win with just 1 hit with his opponent's pokemon..

thats the always thing that happens

Well he doesn't always win but you are right in saying that he does most of the time. However when you look at most programmes like Pokemon the hero always tends to win, although they do try to make battles interesting

Yeah, but hes battled like 37 gym leader/fronteir brains, not to mention all the other people hes battled, especially in the pokemon league.

yeah, he never makes it far in the pokemon leagues. that is where most of his losses are from. but if memory serves me, he never lost at the battle frontier, one of the hardest places.
